1. Who we are

Ryan's Fence & Hauling, LLC is a Florida limited liability company with its principal place of business in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida. We provide fence installation, fence repair and removal, junk removal, general hauling, local moving, construction cleanup, home and estate cleanouts, and palm tree installation across the St. Petersburg / Tampa Bay metro.

2. Quotes & estimates are ranges, not binding bids

The instant-quote tool on this website produces a price range based on the information you provide (job size, materials, add-ons, and the like). The range is an estimate offered in good faith using standard St. Petersburg-metro pricing as of the date of the quote. It is not a binding bid.

The exact, final price is confirmed on a free in-person walkthrough or, for smaller hauling jobs, when our crew arrives on site and reviews the work to be performed. Before any work begins, we will state the exact price in writing or by phone, and you may decline at no cost. If on arrival the actual scope of work materially differs from what you described online, the new price (if any) will be disclosed and accepted by you in writing or by recorded text/voicemail before we proceed.

Online ranges expire 30 days after generation. Material costs (lumber, vinyl, fuel) and labor rates can change; we reserve the right to update pricing on the in-person estimate.

3. Florida three-day right of rescission

Under Florida law (see Fla. Stat. § 501.025), if you sign a sales contract for home repair, improvement, or other services at your home (a "home solicitation sale"), you have the right to cancel that contract within three (3) business days after the date of signing by sending written notice of cancellation to the address provided on the contract. We will refund any deposit paid within ten (10) business days of receiving a timely cancellation notice. This three-day right of rescission does not apply if you initiated the contract by contacting us at our place of business or via this website to request services.

4. Booking, scheduling & cancellation

• Booking confirmation. A booking is confirmed when we send you a written or electronic confirmation containing the date, time window, scope, and price.
• Customer cancellation. You may reschedule or cancel any non-rescission booking up to 24 hours before the scheduled arrival window at no charge. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the arrival window may be subject to a trip-fee of up to $79 to cover crew time and fuel.
• Weather and force majeure. We may reschedule jobs delayed by severe weather, hurricanes, named storms, lightning, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. We will offer the next available slot at no extra charge.
• Crew arrival window. We provide two-hour arrival windows. We will text or call if running late.

5. Workmanship & limited warranty

Fence installations are warranted against defects in workmanship for thirty (30) years from installation date for vinyl and aluminum, and ten (10) years for wood and chain link, subject to manufacturer materials warranties (which pass through directly from the manufacturer).

Palm tree installations are warranted for ninety (90) days from planting against tree death not caused by an act of God (hurricane, freeze below 28°F), homeowner neglect (under-watering, fertilizer burn, mower damage, animal damage), or third-party intervention.

Hauling, junk removal, moving, cleanouts, and construction cleanup are services provided as performed; once the agreed scope is completed and accepted, no ongoing warranty applies.

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing to Quotes@ryanfenceandhaul.com with photos and a description of the issue. We will respond within five (5) business days.

6. Property damage & insurance

We carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation as required by Florida law. If our crew accidentally damages your property during a job, notify us immediately (in writing or by phone) and we will inspect, document, and either repair or compensate for the damage at our cost. Pre-existing conditions, dead/dying landscape, and items on a clearly-marked "do not move" or "do not haul" list are excluded.

7. Permits, licensing & subcontractors

Florida law requires licensed contractors for certain types of work. We hold the licenses required for the services we offer in Pinellas County. For fence permits, we pull the required Pinellas County or St. Petersburg permits and pass the actual permit fee through to you (typically $95) plus our standard handling. We may use vetted, insured subcontractors for specialized work (e.g., crane operation for specimen palms); we remain the contracting party and stand behind their work as if it were our own.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Florida law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to a service we provide is limited to the amount you actually paid us for that service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost rental income, or emotional distress, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (e.g., gross negligence, willful misconduct, personal injury claims).

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Ryan's Fence & Hauling, LLC, its members, employees, and agents from any third-party claim arising out of (a) your breach of these terms, (b) misrepresentation of the scope of work or the condition of items to be removed, (c) your failure to disclose hazardous materials at the worksite, or (d) your violation of any applicable law or third party's rights.

10. Privacy policy

Information we collect. We collect only the information you give us through quote forms, booking forms, contact forms, or phone calls — typically your name, phone number, email address, service address, and a description of the work you need. The instant-quote tool stores your selections in your browser's localStorage so we can pre-fill the booking form; this data does not leave your device.

How we use it. We use your information solely to provide quotes, schedule jobs, communicate about your service, and follow up on completed work. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.

Third-party services. Our website embeds Google Fonts (font loading), Google Maps (location previews on location pages), and a YouTube background-music player. Each of these third parties may set cookies or log access requests under their own privacy policies. Form submissions are routed through Formspree (formspree.io); their privacy policy applies to data in transit.

Data retention. We retain customer records for seven (7) years for tax and warranty purposes (consistent with Florida record-keeping norms). You may request deletion of your information by emailing Quotes@ryanfenceandhaul.com; we will honor deletion requests for non-active records within thirty (30) days.

Children's privacy. Our services are directed to property owners, renters, and adults; we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.

11. Cookies & analytics

This website does not use first-party tracking cookies. We use browser localStorage to remember your music-player and instant-quote selections within your session. Embedded third-party services (YouTube, Google Fonts) may set their own cookies subject to their own policies.

12. Accessibility

We have designed this website to be usable by visitors with a wide range of abilities, following common Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1 AA) practices: keyboard navigability, sufficient color contrast, descriptive alt text, and semantic HTML. 13. Intellectual property

The Ryan's Fence & Hauling brand, logo, trade dress, photography, and original written content on this website are the property of Ryan's Fence & Hauling, LLC. You may not reproduce, modify, or use them for commercial purposes without our written permission. Customer photos and reviews shared with us may be reposted on our website and social media unless you opt out at the time of sharing.

14. Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act

Nothing in these terms is intended to waive or limit your rights under the Florida Deceptive and Unfair Trade Practices Act (Fla. Stat. § 501.201 et seq.) or any other consumer-protection statute. Any provision found inconsistent with such statutes is severable and the remainder of these terms remains in effect.

15. Governing law & venue

These terms and any dispute arising out of or related to our services are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The exclusive venue for any legal action is the state and federal courts located in Pinellas County, Florida. Both parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

16. Dispute resolution

Before filing a lawsuit, both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute by good-faith written negotiation for at least thirty (30) days. If the dispute cannot be resolved by negotiation, either party may proceed in the venue described in Section 15. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive relief in court at any time.

17. Severability

If any portion of these terms is held unenforceable, the unenforceable portion is severed and the remainder remains in full force and effect.

18. Modifications

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our services after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
